Fukushima Workers Tackle Highly Radioactive Water
The Tokyo Electric Power Co. will begin removing radioactive elements this week from water used to cool the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. Experts say they can reduce the radioactivity of the contaminated water by a factor of at least 1,000 and using a complex water treatment system.
