It's Official: Southern Sudan Votes To Secede
Nearly 99 percent of Southern Sudanese voted to split Africa's largest country, according to final results. Sudan President Omar al-Bashir said the north will accept the south's decision to secede, and the Obama administration said it will consider taking Sudan off its state sponsors of terrorism list.
