'Labs On A Chip' May Detect Diseases In The Field
With just a drop of blood, the credit card-sized medical device delivers results in minutes. Researchers say the portable, cheap tests could help revolutionize medicine where traditional diagnostic tests aren't feasible. But some caution the approach might not live up to its promise.
