New Republic: Raise Those Taxes, Spend That Money
What's going to fix the economy? Raising taxes or spending money? Here's a crazy idea: Why don't we do both? Robert Shiller of The New Republic argues that the taboo idea of tax-and-spend isn't such a crazy idea, and it could, in fact, fix the current economic crisis.
