The director of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, was arrested over the weekend on sexual assault charges. David Bosco of Foreign Policy argues that Strauss-Kahn's American deputy, John Lipsky, is uniquely positioned to take over the organization in an unpolitical, technocratic way.
