Rebel Military Leader Killed In Libya
Abdel-Fattah Younis, the head of the rebels' armed forces, and two of his aides were killed by gunmen Thursday, the National Transitional Council said. Younis, a former Libyan interior minister who defected, was shot before he arrived for questioning on suspicions he still had ties to Moammar Gadhafi's regime. A suspect was in custody.
