The New Republic: The 'What Went Wrong' Debate
This week Republicans took control of the House, and gained a number of Senate seats. Jonathan Chait of The New Republic argues that Democratic policies were to blame. Bailouts made the Democrats unpopular, but not acting would have been worse. Democrats were caught with no good options.
