The Nation: Lebron's Muhammad Ali Moment
A new ad put forth by Nike and Lebron James attempts to conflate the public vitriol directed at James for his move to Miami with the public's anger at Muhammad Ali for refusing to participate in the Vietnam War. Dave Zirin of The Nation argues that the ad's use of one of Ali's most famous lines makes light of the boxer's suffering.
