In the wake of the first storm of winter, which dumped a few feet in Tahoe and Utah, and three feet in Southern Colorado, Wolf Creek is opening this weekend. Word is those in California and Colorado have already been putting in the leg work for a few turns, but htis marks the first lifts (outside of Timberline and their perpetual season) of the 2011-12 season. Treasure, Bonanza and Nova will be operating from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM servicing beginner, intermediate and expert terrain, including Alberta Face and Treasure Falls.
